For our Client, an international manufacturing company in the automotive industry, we are looking for a Finance Manager. This is a new role in the company structure resulting from the creation of a separate business unit. The person in this role will be responsible for the company's accounting, finance, and controlling processes. The position will report to the local Plant Director and the Regional CFO.

About Our Client

Our Client is a well-known, manufacturing company located near Brzeg.

Job Description

  • Providing full accountancy for polish entity according to polish accounting standards,
  • Preparing full statutory and Group Package of financial statements,
  • Oversight of the company's budgeting process
  • Cooperation with local and global structures,
  • Preparing necessary reports for different institutions (National Bank of Poland, Central Statistical Office, Tax authorities, Social Insurance Institutions),
  • Intercompany reconciliations,
  • Cooperation with local and global structures,
  • Conducting and controlling settlements with banks, suppliers, recipients, other contractors and provisions,
  • Manage and coordinate the annual external audit process and tax audit,
  • Team management- accounting and controlling team,
  • Calculating and preparing tax declarations (VAT, CIT, WHT, deferred tax etc.).

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance,
  • Minimum 10 years of business experience, with at least 5 years as a senior financial leader, Head of Finance/Finance Manager, Chief Accountant,
  • Proven track record in financial modelling, reporting and accounting functions,
  • strong knowledge of controlling in a manufacturing company,
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS,
  • Practical knowledge of polish reporting and tax compliance requirements,
  • Experience in SAP is an advantage,
  • Able to work in matrix structures,
  • Fluent knowledge of English (both spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills,
